Mark Elliott is a premier funky and disco house
dj, playing regularly in London, Birmingham and across Essex.
With a background in commercial radio, he has progressed
from clubber to vinyl master.
Since his first gig on Choice FM Birmingham in 1996,
he has gone on to hold residencies on radio stations
Galaxy 102.2 (Birmingham), Essex FM, Vibe FM (East Anglia)
and at clubs Love Muscle @ The Fridge (London), Nightingale
Club (Birmingham), Rise & Shine @ The Fridge Bar (London),
Candy Flip @ Club Loco (Bristol), Splash @ DV8 (Cardiff),
2XS @ Gardening Club (London), Splash (Bristol) and
Pool (Brighton).
Current residencies:
Monthly appearances at
Nightingale Club in Birmingham. Saturday nights
regularly attract as much as 2500 clubbers, and Level
3 of the club is home to HOM - House Of Music, a Feelgood-Funkedup-Bouncehouse
allnighter. Mark takes to the decks between 0000-0200,
playing funky and intelligent twisted disco house.
Mark also hosts a weekly mixshow on Essex
FM, which broadcasts to 1.2 million people in
the County of Essex and North East London.
The show is Club Essex
and can be heard on Saturday nights between 2200-0200, and is a non-stop mix of upfront
house and club tracks. The show is now in its tenth year,
with Mark having been a weekly resident since March 1997,
making it one of the longest running mixshows
in the country.
